Privacy Policy

Effective September 2, 2026

Stump Grinding Cheap LLC, doing business as Citrus Stump Grinding(“we”, “us”) is a family business in Floral City, not a data company. This page says what we end up knowing about you when you use citrusstumpgrinding.com, call us, or have us grind a stump — why we keep it, who else touches it, and how to get it out of our hands. It is short on purpose. If something here is not clear, call 352-789-2894 and ask.

1. What you hand us

  • The contact form. Our contact page asks for your name and phone number, and lets you add your address, how many stumps you have, and a message. That goes straight out as an email to us. The website does not save a copy in any database of its own.
  • Phoning or texting.Your number lands on our phone along with whatever you describe — usually where the property is and what has to come out — because we cannot price it or route it otherwise.
  • The job itself. After we have worked for you, the ordinary paperwork sticks around: your name, the property address, a phone number, the stumps we took out, what it cost, and the way the bill was settled. That is our books, and it is how we already know your yard the next time you call.

2. What the website picks up on its own

  • Google Tag Manager. Our pages load Google Tag Manager, which is the container that runs our measurement tags (for example Google Analytics). It is how we see which pages get read, roughly what part of the state a visitor is in, what device and browser they used, and how they found us. Those tags use cookies and similar identifiers. When the contact form sends successfully the site records that a form was sent — the event only says “a form went through”, never your name, number, or message. Google’s side of the arrangement is spelled out in its notice for sites that run its services.
  • Google reCAPTCHA. The contact form runs reCAPTCHA so robots cannot bury us in junk. To tell you from a bot it gathers device and browser signals and sends them to Google to check. That is covered by the Google Privacy Policy and Google Terms of Service.
  • Hosting logs. Vercel runs the servers this site sits on, and like any host it writes plain request logs. Those hold the address a visit came from, which browser it used, and when it happened. Vercel keeps them so the site stays online and so abuse gets caught.

3. Why we keep any of it

  • To call you back, quote the job, schedule it, and grind it.
  • To keep the books a business has to keep for bookkeeping and taxes.
  • To keep this website online, safe, and clear of junk submissions.
  • To see which pages and which ads actually bring people to us, so a small family business spends its advertising money where it works.

We have never sold anybody’s personal information and we are not about to start. We do not rent it or trade it either, and we do not pass it to anyone who wants to market at you.

4. Who else ever sees it

Only these:

  • The companies behind our tools, strictly so they can do that one job: Resend, the service that carries a contact form email into our inbox; Google, for Tag Manager and reCAPTCHA; and Vercel, our host.
  • Anyone the law makes us tell— a valid court order, for instance — or where we have to act to protect somebody’s safety, our property, or our rights.
  • A future owner. Should this business ever be sold or handed down, the customer files travel with it, so whoever takes over can pick up where we left off.

Outside companies like Google can piece together a picture of your browsing across plenty of websites, not only this one. Their own policies, linked above, are what control that.

5. Cookies, and how to turn them off

  • Your browser settings can block or wipe cookies whenever you feel like it, and the site keeps working without them — though reCAPTCHA has to run before the contact form will send.
  • Google publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics everywhere, not just here.
  • Do Not Track.Browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal, but the industry never agreed on what a website should do about it, so ours does not change its behavior when it sees one.

6. Seeing, fixing, or deleting your record

You are welcome to find out what sits in our file on you, have us fix anything wrong in it, or have us wipe it. Call 352-789-2894 or use the contact pageand we will handle it in a sensible amount of time. A few things we are stuck holding onto no matter what — invoices the tax rules say we have to keep, for instance.

7. Kids

This site is for grown-ups arranging work on a property. It is not built for anyone under 13, and we would never knowingly take information from a child.

8. Keeping it safe

Traffic to this site travels over HTTPS. The contact form gets screened for bots. Our inbox and our job records open only for the handful of people who actually run this business. Nothing sent across the internet is ever perfectly safe, though, and we will not pretend otherwise.

9. If this policy changes

The replacement goes up right here, dated at the top so you can see it is newer. When a change is a big one, we will flag it in plain words on this page and leave the flag up for a good while after it starts applying.
